iCounter is a solution that carries out counting processes with all integrated Android and iOS mobile devices through SAP ERP and rest API services. Counting is carried out in real time and records are assigned directly to SAP. When mobile devices do not have data access, it continues to work offline without data loss. The counting process is not affected by instantaneous systemic interruptions and sends the data when it becomes online.
A dynamic solution
The necessary information for counting (warehouse numbers, users, products, etc.) and the management screen have been developed by generating the “SAP Counting and Management Module”. User management is optionally configured, and warehouse definition is dynamically editable for each counting both before and during counting.
Quantity and counting tracking
The cumulative quantity is tracked with the counting program. Thus, by having the counting personnel check the quantity without closing the counting area; it enables to control the possibility of overcounting by repeated scanning or undercounting by skipping the count. In this way, the counting results can be calculated precisely. Before starting counting, product barcodes from SAP ERP and the quantities that should be in stock are synchronized on the mobile device. In this way, counting is performed more easily and quickly.
Faultless and detailed counting
Correction and deletion options are available for faulty counting operations from the mobile device at the time of counting. In this way, the user can correct instant errors before the counting is completed. When an undefined barcode is read, an audible warning is given to prevent the employee from skipping the product without checking and correcting the error. Counting accuracy success rate will be high.
Since it can read barcodes with both a barcode reader and a camera, any device can be instantly included in the counting process. Since warehouse definitions are dynamically manageable, the sections in the warehouse are instantly divided into smaller sections during counting, more detailed counting is provided. Users coming from external companies can be included in the count without being defined in the system, and person-based performance can be tracked.
